Senior Product Designer
Role
Senior Product Designer and Front-end Developer in the Professional Information Business team that designed and built React web apps for web, internal tools, and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
As part of Dow Jones’ rebranding, I was responsible for creating a UI pattern library for their digital products, helped establish the company’s first design system, as well as releasing their first-ever mobile app built on React Native, Factiva.

Description
In 2015 London-based creative agency Bow&Arrow (now part of Accenture Song) was brought in to rebrand Dow Jones. I collaborated with Bow&Arrow’s designers to build on and expand their design system to scale out to all of Dow Jones’ digital products.

Description
As soon as Dow Jones rebranded, I was responsible for updating and modernizing Dow Jones Professional Information Business web apps to follow the newly established design system and UI patterns.
One product was RiskCenter, a web-based tool for conducting due diligence on potential customers and connected parties, as well as ongoing monitoring and sanctions screening.

VentureSource
Description
As soon as Dow Jones rebranded, I was responsible for updating and modernizing Dow Jones Professional Information Business web apps to follow the newly established design system and UI patterns.
One product was updating VentureSource, which was created in 1988. VentureSource tracks venture capital investors, their investments, their LPs and the service providers involved in those deals. In 2020, VentureSource was acquired by CB Insights.

Factiva
Description
As soon as Dow Jones rebranded, I was responsible for updating and modernizing Dow Jones Professional Information Business web apps to follow the newly established design system and UI patterns. I worked alongside a mobile app developer to design and release Dow Jones' first-ever iOS and Android app, Factiva, built on React Native.
Factiva is a news archive service that combines licensed Dow Jones, News Corp and Reuters content which provides access to thousands of quality, licensed, news and information sources in 28 languages, from nearly every country in the world.
